KAST

A KAST of 75% means the player contributed in three out of four rounds. In pro CS2, around 70% is normal and 75% or more is strong.
Why KAST matters: it measures consistency rather than big moments. A player with lots of kills but a low KAST often wins some rounds alone and disappears in others. A player with a high KAST is reliably useful, even without highlight plays.
KAST is especially fair to support players and in-game leaders, who often trade, assist and survive more than they frag. Read it together with ADR for a fuller picture.
