IGL (in-game leader)

What an IGL does:
- Calls the plan before each round: which site to attack or how to set up on defense.
- Manages the economy with the team: eco, force buy or full buy.
- Reads the opponent and changes tactics during the map.
- Makes mid-round calls, for example switching to the other bombsite.
In most tournaments, coaches can talk to the team only during timeouts and breaks, so during rounds the IGL is the team's brain.
Leading takes focus, so many IGLs have lower personal stats than their teammates. Their value shows in the team's results more than in their own numbers. Some IGLs are also stars or AWPers, which is rare and highly valued.
