The layout
Abyss has two sites and a three-lane layout, with a branching middle. It is built with a lot of height: drops, jumps and shortcuts give players new ways to move around.
What makes it different
The open edges change how players fight. Knockback abilities and careless movement can send someone off the map, and shortcuts let players take unusual routes into sites.
Abyss in pro play
Teams have to think about height on Abyss more than on any other map, both to take smart positions and to avoid deadly mistakes.
