Wallbang

How it works:
- Bullets lose damage as they pass through, so a wallbang hurts less than a clean hit.
- Thin wood, doors and some walls let bullets through. Thick concrete and metal do not.
- Weapons with high armor penetration wallbang best: the AWP, the AK-47, the Desert Eagle and other rifles.
When pros use it:
- To hit a player hiding in a common spot without peeking, often combined with a prefire.
- To finish a damaged enemy who is behind cover.
- To slow a push: spraying through a door makes the other team hesitate.
Wallbangs show up on kill feeds with a small icon. A kill through a wall, through smoke and while blind at the same time is one of the most replayed moments in CS2.
