Stack

Stack

Why stack? CTs stack when they expect the Ts to go to one site, for example because the Ts have hit B several rounds in a row. If the read is right, the Ts run into a wall of defenders and lose the round.

The risk: if the read is wrong, the other site is almost empty, and the Ts can plant easily. The CTs then have to rotate across the map and retake.

Ts can stack too: all five players together for a fast execute on one site.

Stacks are part of the mind games between two teams over a map, and a big reason why reading the opponent matters so much in pro CS2.
