Multi-kill (2K, 3K, 4K)

| Name | Kills in one round |
|---|---|
| 2K | two |
| 3K | three |
| 4K | four |
| 5K, or ace | the whole enemy team |
Why multi-kills matter
A single player taking out two or three opponents in one round usually decides the round. A 3K on a bombsite can stop an entire attack, and a 4K often wins the round alone.
Multi-kills are part of the HLTV rating, because they show a player who can turn a round by themselves. Since Rating 3.0 they carry a little less weight than before, because they overlap with kills.
Multi-kill vs clutch
A multi-kill is about the number of kills. A clutch is about the situation: the last player alive winning the round. A 1v3 clutch is usually also a 3K, but a 3K in a five against five fight is not a clutch.
