Overtime

How overtime works in pro play
- Teams play pairs of rounds: one on attack, one on defense.
- Overtime continues until one team leads by two rounds, for example 14-12 or 15-13.
- Every player gets the same credits in each overtime round, so money does not decide it.
- In pro matches there is no draw: overtime goes on as long as needed.
Overtime outside pro play
- Competitive (ranked): win by two, but after each pair of overtime rounds players can vote for a draw.
- Unrated: a single sudden-death round at 12-12.
Overtime vs CS2
In CS2, overtime is played in blocks of six rounds. In Valorant, it is pairs of rounds until a two-round lead. See CS2 overtime rules for comparison.
