ACS (Average Combat Score)

How it works
Each round, a player earns combat score for:
- damage dealt to enemies;
- kills, worth more when more enemies are still alive, so an early kill counts more than the last one;
- multi-kills in the same round;
- assists, including ability assists.
The total is divided by the number of rounds played.
What is a good ACS?
| ACS | What it means in pro Valorant |
|---|---|
| 250 or more | star level, often the best player on the server |
| 220 to 249 | very good |
| 180 to 219 | around average |
| under 160 | a quiet game |
Duelists usually have the highest ACS, because they take the most fights. Controllers and Sentinels often score lower while doing just as much for the team.
ACS vs other stats
ACS rewards fragging. To see how consistently a player helps the team, look at KAST; for raw damage, ADR.
