Forfeit (FF)

In pro CS2, forfeits happen when:
- a team cannot field five players, for example because of visa problems or illness, and has no stand-in;
- a team withdraws from a tournament;
- a team breaks the rules or arrives too late and is disqualified.
How a forfeit is recorded depends on the organizer. Often the series is scored as a win for the other team, sometimes with default map scores like 13-0.
On R1GG: forfeits are shown in results, but they are not counted in team stats such as the Performance block, because no CS2 was actually played.
In casual play, "ff" is also slang for surrendering. In CS2 matchmaking, a team can vote to surrender in some situations, for example when a teammate has abandoned the match.
